A Tale of Two Campaigns: Grassroots vs. Corporate Interests in Nampa's Senatorial Race
Analyzing the Funding: A Visual Comparison of Individual and Corporate Contributions in Nampa's Political Landscape
As Nampa's Senator, my commitment has always been to grassroots support. Here's a clear look at where our campaign stands:
My Total Campaign Donations as of 11/18/23:
Unique Donors: 51
Composition: 47 individuals, 3 companies, and 1 PAC.
Individual Donor Support: a remarkable 92.16%
Support from Other Entities: only 7.84%
This shows that my campaign is firmly rooted in the community, powered by the people.
Now, let's compare this with my opponent, Jeff Agenbroad, whose approach as a long-time politician is quite different:
My opponent, Jeff Agenbroad's Total Campaign Donations as of 11/18/23:
Unique Donors: 110
Composition: Just 17 individuals. The majority? 93 corporations, PACs, and other organizations.
Individual Donor Support: Only 15.45%
Corporate/Organizational Support: An overwhelming majority of 84.55%
Jeff’s campaign clearly leans heavily on corporate interests.
Can such a campaign truly represent a "man of the people"?
The distinction is stark and telling...
While I stand with and for the people, backed predominantly by individual supporters, Jeff's campaign seems to mirror a NASCAR racecar, emblazoned with a plethora of corporate logos. The list includes prominent names such as Anheuser Busch, AT&T, and Johnson and Johnson, along with a host of other corporate giants.
In this race, you're choosing between a campaign built on the support of everyday people versus one bolstered by deep corporate pockets.
Nampa deserves a Senator whose allegiance is to its residents, not to a roster of corporate donors:
