My bill to combat lawfare heads to the Governor's desk

You’ve seen the wins stacking up at the national level, right?

Well, brace yourself—because it’s hitting hard at the state level now too.

Because in YET ANOTHER WIN, my bill to smash lawfare and shield Idahoans from being crushed in court or bankrupted by deep-pocketed elites and organizations just cleared the House UNANIMOUSLY and is barreling toward the Governor’s desk!

This is a massive win for Idaho.

As one of only 15 states without an Anti-SLAPP statute, this bill’s passage locks in First Amendment protections for Idahoans who dare to speak out, join public debates, and flex their constitutional rights.

I pushed the same bill last year (2024), only for it to get slaughtered on the Senate floor—thanks to #politics (i.e. “they” couldn’t stomach handing me a fat win in an election year when they were already out for my blood).

This is a damn good day for Idaho.
