Awesome work, Sen. Lenney! Thank you for so clearly stating the problems and the solutions.

We've added your article to several Substack posts in hopes of sharing your message far and wide in Idaho:

When will Idaho put legislation behind this criminal behavior or can Sheriffs do it independently?

The Sheriff's role is tricky. This article, written with considerable help from Ada County Sheriff Candidate Doug Traubel, can shed some light: https://eolson47.substack.com/p/idahos-illegal-immigration-open-borders

P.S. If you vote in Ada County, PLEASE elect Doug Traubel. He's the Sheriff the most populous county in Idaho desperately needs.

It's tricky unless we green light them via the 287(g) program.

I'm up in Post Falls and I am thrilled to read this. Thrilled!

Finally someone is taking practical steps to not only stop further illegal immigration but remove the illegals we have here now.

That's my one question: How do we deport those who came in illegally under the current regime's magic wand, TPS I think it's called? We have to get rid of all the illegals infesting Ketchum and other places.

I want to work on this issue.

We have to have elected officials from the White House down with the political will to do it. Cities and counties are responsible as well. There's a reason they're congregating in Ketchum and not Nampa, for instance.
